After a though selection period, NUI Group mentors have selected the 5 winning proposals for GSoC 2010. It was a very competitive and hard process as nearly 35 proposals have been received, and most of them had an outstanding quality.

Here are the proposals that were selected:

Community Core Audio - A Couple Project with CCV

MT4J - Extensions to the Framework providing generic, stylable components for user interface building

NUIML - State and render management for MT user interfaces
Student: Jake Pyne
Mentor: Christian Moore

PyMT - New and Advanced Interaction Widgets: Text Input
Student: Christopher Denter
Mentor: Thomas Hansen

Congratulations to all the Google Summer of Code students who were accepted this year, We hope for another pleasant, successful and productive GSoC for our students and community, and wish good luck to our students in their code writing until August on the suggested “pencils down” day.
